Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art and science of placement explaining the energetic connection we have with our surroundings. The 'art' of Feng Shui is in the items we choose to include in our surroundings and the location of these items. The ‘science’ of Feng Shui is in our thought and intention surrounding a particular placement. We can also say art is the mundane, Earth-based Feng Shui and science the metaphysical, Spirit-based aspect. By employing these tools and tending to our environments, we shift the way our lives unfold. More often than not, these shifts start with an easy-to-place Feng Shui cure or two. Simply put: We connect energetically with our possessions and surroundings and by using Feng Shui principles to move things around, we change our lives. Look up from where you are sitting. What do you see? Know that you have an energetic relationship with each item in view and the space between. You vibrate on one level and sunlit dust particles, the computer, a leafy plant, and your snoring dog vibrate on others. Invite the Chi, life-force energy, to flow in, around, and through your space uplifting and maximizing your potential. If you have storage containers under your bed (or just things strewn there), you are not sleeping as soundly as you would if under the bed were empty space allowing, even encouraging, flow. If the cook top is not squeaky, sparkling clean your Abundance falls short of what it could be. Let's say would be. Do not let your front door stick and creak challenging opportunities to enter. Those opportunities are looking for YOU.
